Yoga With Me... Who?
My name is Angela Goff and I have been interested in health and well being for all of my adult life.
Fitness has always been my passion. I went to my first aerobics class at the age of 14 in a village hall... and never looked back! I continued to keep fit as a hobby through my working life until I had my daughter in 1997. That was when I decided to make my passion become my living. I qualified as an aerobics instructor in 2000 and over the years have taught everything from Spinning to Body Pump! While enjoying everything I did, I was drawn to yoga around 10 years ago and it changed my approach to the way I teach and train. Yoga takes care of the mind and body in a kind and holistic way that feels completely unique. I have been teaching yoga since 2009 and have never felt better, physically, mentally and as an instructor. You know what, though? I still feel as though I'm at the start of my journey, with a lot to learn and a long way to go. Want to go on that journey with me? |
My Qualifications
I am a member of the Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs).
REPs provides assurance and confidence to the public and employers that all professionals on the Register are appropriately qualified and have the knowledge, competence and skill to perform their role effectively. I am a Level 2-qualified Exercise to Music, Gym, Exercise and Movement instructor. I am a Level 3-qualified Yoga teacher, personal trainer and Pilates instructor. I am also qualified to instruct ante- and post-natal clients, as well as older adults. My latest training has been in Yin Yoga. Ever heard of it? Yin Yoga is a slow, steady and contemplative form of the practice, with postures that are held for longer periods of time than those of the traditional Yang Yoga. It's designed to give a sense of core softness and surrender. I'll be running Yin Yoga workshops in Tunbridge Wells in the near future. Come back to this site for details and let's practice together. |

Yoga has changed my life! And Angela's classes are a major part of that. Thank you, lovely! |
What I enjoy most about Angela's classes is that while she takes yoga seriously, she doesn't take herself at ALL seriously. The classes are always wonderful fun. |
